This Privacy Notice for California Residents ("Notice") supplements the information contained in the main Consultabot Privacy Policy. We adopt this Notice to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA").
This Notice applies solely to all visitors, users, job applicants, business contacts, and others who reside in the State of California ("consumers" or "you").
2. Information We Collect
Consultabot, LLC collects information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household ("personal information").
In particular, Consultabot, LLC has collected the following categories of personal information within the last twelve (12) months:

Examples: Browsing history, search history, IP addresses, session data, and information regarding a consumer's interaction with our website.

Examples: Audio, electronic, visual, or similar information (e.g., recorded virtual meetings or technical consultations).

Personal information does not include publicly available government records, de-identified or aggregated consumer information, or information excluded from the CPRA's scope (such as HIPAA or FCRA data).
3. Sources of Personal Information
Consultabot, LLC obtains the categories of personal information listed above from the following sources:
* Directly from you: For example, forms you complete on our website, job application submissions, or consultation requests.
* Indirectly from you: For example, through observing your actions on our website via automated tracking technologies.
* Third parties and public sources: Such as background check providers, professional recruitment networks, and public business directories.
4. Use of Personal Information
We may use or disclose the personal information we collect for one or more of the following purposes:
* To fulfill the reason you provided the information (e.g., answering a business inquiry or evaluating a software consulting proposal).
* To process and evaluate job applications and employment requests.

6. Your Rights Under the CPRA

6.4 Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: You have the right to direct us not to sell or share your personal information. (Consultabot does not sell personal data).
6.5 Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CPRA rights.
7. Exercising Your Rights and Response Timelines
To exercise your CPRA rights, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by contacting: contact@Consultabot.com (Subject Line: "California Privacy Rights Request").
Only you, or an agent authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable request. The request must provide sufficient information allowing us to reasonably verify your identity and describe the request in sufficient detail.
Response Timing: We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to an additional 45 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.
California "Shine the Light" Law: California Civil Code Section § 1798.83 permits California residents to request details regarding disclosures of personal data to third parties for direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please email contact@Consultabot.com.
8. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical, administrative, and physical security controls to safeguard personal information against unauthorized processing, loss, or disclosure. However, no electronic transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

We reserve the right to amend this Notice at our discretion and at any time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last Revised" date at the top of this page.
